Game Developer
We are a VR & MR games company based in Savannah and are seeking a Jr Unity & Unreal Developer to join our special projects team for several games in progress. This is an in-person position for Savannah residents only. You must currently reside in/around Savannah and be eligible to work in the US immediately. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and maintenance of applications and games using Unity Engine and Unreal Engine. You must have good working knowledge of both engines and be able to demonstrate your competency at the time of interview.
Work with a team to design and implement new features and functionalities.
Test and debug to ensure smooth performance across various platforms.
Participate in code reviews and adhere to best practices in software development.
Collaborate with artists, designers, and other developers to bring creative ideas to life.
40 hours weekly in office.
Desired Requirements:
Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Game Development, Immersive Reality or a related field.
Solid understanding of Unity Engine and Unreal Engine and & scripting.
Moderate understanding of virtual and mixed reality concepts.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Basic understanding of version control systems, such as Github.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience with game development projects (academic or personal).
Familiarity with 3D modeling software (e.g., Blender, Maya, Mixer etc) is a plus.
An understanding of UI/UX principles in game design.
