Games Engineer
About the Role
We are seeking a Savannah-based Games Engineer to join our leadership team in an exciting period of rapid growth as we produce high-quality interactive games and experiences. You'll assume a management position and take ownership of the development of games across a wide range of genres and platforms. You will seek out opportunities to bring insight and add value in shaping the company’s growth as well as push the technical boundaries of our products.

Tasks
Technical supervision for games production from concept to shipment.
Provide technical oversight for small teams of developers and mentor junior team members.
Communicate with project managers and leadership regarding the status of projects.
Ensure the best performance, quality, and playability of all games.
Identify and implement process and production bottlenecks.
Identify and implement remedies for bugs and provide general technical maintenance.
Asks
Experience with VR/MR development & and an active gamer with a good understanding of the past, present and future of interactive experiences.
Strong experience with commercial game engines including Unity and Unreal.
Deep knowledge of C++ or C# languages, data structures and algorithms.
Working experience with source versioning (Git, Bitbucket, etc).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and expertise with project management platforms.
Some basic experience with asset creation workflows in creative software such as Zbrush, 3DSMax, Blender, Adobe Creative Suite etc.
