The VR Base Review

Everyone will agree horror games can truly shine in the world of virtual reality. More often than not, though, those games are mediocre at best. The Exorcist: Legion VR for the HTC Vive is a different game altogether. In fact, it shows how much this new technology can benefit horror games in general. We have high expectations for future offerings in this genre after playing The Exorcist: Legion VR for a while. The game is also available for Oculus Rift and PlayStation VR.

The Exorcist: Legion VR has Plenty of Potential

For most VR horror games, jump scares are the go-to solution. While that works out quite well for a few titles, most games are utter disappointments, in the end. Whenever a game loosely based on a popular movie franchise gets  VR version, there is no real reason to be excited. However, this particular game is a more than welcome surprise for all the right reasons. It is downright scary and suspenseful at any given moment. This game has one of the most immersive atmospheres of any horror game in existence today.
